Customize your season
As we have seen in other markets, a larger league can mean better parity and a wider variety of opponents. We have found ways to take location and team preferences into account within a city-wide approach, giving us the best of both worlds.
Scheduling add-ons
Scheduling is the biggest customization opportunity. Tell us what days and times make the season work for your team, then select a paid add-on when a more specific pattern matters.
Paid add-ons start at $250 pre-HST. Preferred time range is $500 pre-HST. OSAHL teams receive 50% off. All are limited and subject to feasibility review.
League pathways
As the league grows, options such as purchasing additional regular-season games, age-range divisions, a women’s division and a beginner program become easier to organize. We’ll keep listening for useful ways to shape the league.
Regional options are limited-capacity and subject to final allocation. Your pre-registration timestamp creates a priority request, not a guarantee.

We will unveil our finalized league brand and logo at one of the upcoming captain town halls.

We understand that captains have questions about changes to the experience your teams know, especially while the upcoming season is still taking shape.
We are working closely alongside our partners at the Sensplex as we move through this transition, and working quickly to lay out the rules, scheduling details and exact structure of the season. We will share those details as they are confirmed, while keeping captain input close to the decisions that affect how the league operates.
After helping run recreational hockey leagues across provinces in Canada, I couldn’t be more excited to bring what I love about this game to my hometown of Ottawa.
We are excited to introduce the team behind the new league at the upcoming town hall meetings and to keep the conversation going with captains from there.
